Italian Orzo Spinach Soup

Diced the carrots, celery and onions and place in a large stock pot with 1 cup of vegetable broth and the garlic. Simmer until the vegetables are soft. Add the rest of the vegetable broth and the fresh spinach and stir until fully mixed in. Add tomatoes with their juice and stir and the spices and stir. Let simmer for about 20 minutes then add the whole wheat orzo pasta. Simmer for another 30 minutes and add sea salt and black pepper to taste. Serve.
